The people who are all put “maalai” doesn’t wear slippers and shoes for a month.
The reason behind this is you are training your legs to the hard environment in sabarimalai. In that divine place you have to go in the mountain with rocks but without slippers. In earlier days people used go by walk everywhere. Butt nowadays each and everyone have to go by some vehicle. So whats the deal in using the slippers. I am seeing some nuts who are all coming in AC car or bike but without slippers. I don’t get a suitable word to call them other than idiots. Divinity is different. Don’t put your innocence into that.
